1. Data controller
BIT FISH, s.r.o. (registered office: Salka 384, 943 61 Salka, Slovakia; company ID/IČO: 47180331; tax ID/DIČ: 2023792760; e-mail: info@bitfish.hu) — hereinafter "BitFish" or the "controller".
2. What we process, and why
Contact form. If you send us a message, we process the name, e-mail address, company name and message content you provide. Purpose: responding to your enquiry and subsequent correspondence. Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). Retention: up to 12 months after the matter is closed.
AI assistant (chat). Questions you ask the on-site AI assistant are processed to generate an answer. The chat is anonymous: no sign-in is required and conversations are not linked to your identity. Please do not enter personal data in the chat. The conversation history is stored only in your browser (session storage) and is deleted when the tab closes. Answers are generated using Microsoft Azure OpenAI; Microsoft does not use the submitted content to train its models. For operational purposes, requests may be retained in technical logs (timestamps, technical identifiers) for up to 30 days. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing and securely operating the service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Technical logs. Our servers may log IP addresses and technical request data for security and troubleshooting. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Retention: up to 30 days.
3. Cookies and local storage
This website uses no advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you. We only use strictly necessary browser storage: the AI assistant's conversation history is kept in session storage, which is automatically cleared when the browser tab closes. Under the GDPR and ePrivacy rules this does not require consent.
4. Performance and error monitoring
To keep the website reliable we may collect technical performance and error data (such as page load times, error messages, browser type). This measurement is configured so that it does not identify you personally: it uses no advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. Should we introduce an analytics tool that requires consent in the future, we will only do so with your prior consent via a cookie banner, and update this notice accordingly.
5. Processors and transfers
We use the following providers: Microsoft Azure (hosting and cloud infrastructure, and Azure OpenAI for generating chat answers) — data is processed in data centres within the European Union. We do not transfer personal data to third countries. We do not sell your data and do not use it for marketing.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access the data we hold about you; request rectification or erasure; request restriction of processing; object to processing based on legitimate interest; and request data portability. Send requests toinfo@bitfish.hu; we respond within one month at the latest.
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Slovakia, the Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR (Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava,dataprotection.gov.sk); in Hungary, the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH,naih.hu).

We do not carry out profiling or decisions based solely on automated processing. We may update this notice from time to time; the current version is always available on this page.
